St. Joseph will be offering First Saturday Masses beginning on August 3, 2019 and every month thereafter. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available at 9:30 am with Mass beginning at 10:00 am. First Saturday Requirements The elements of this devotion consist in the following four points, all of which must be offered in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. One should make the intention of reparation for blasphemies against the Immaculate Heart for at least five consecutive months. Confession (shortly before or after the First Saturday—so long as the person receives Holy Communion in a state of grace) Holy communion received on the First Saturday of each month Recite the Holy Rosary, five decades recited some time during the day Meditating for 15 minutes on the Mysteries of the Rosary (one or more)
